  1. Amazing! Did you do a bunch of butterfly facts? We visited the butterfly house at the Omaha zoo and I'm always intrigued by the facts they post. They've got a huge exhibit of the process they go through to keep stocked with the butterflies because they only live 1-2 weeks. I'll email you a few pics, you can add it to your lesson (do you do some summer school?!?) Nice job on the pics, it looks like it was a successful project.

  2. I love this! Those are great pictures. HOW DO YOU TAKE SUCH GREAT PICTURES OF MOVING BUTTERFLIES? My pictures always look like crap. Mark did this in his class this year, and we were a bit worried - he knocked the chrysalis off his desk and we weren't sure if he killed it or not. Apparently he didn't.

  4. Okay, THIS almost makes me want to homeschool. Or get a better camera.

  5. I'm with Allison. Since I have actually considered homeschooling, this just makes me want to do it more.

  6. @Omaha Mama -- I'd love some pictures. Can you email them to wrathofmom (at) gmail (dot) com. Thanks.
@Nicole -- The butterflies were pretty easy to photograph since they were rather pokey.
@planetnomad -- I'm so honoured that you thought of me! Like is a horrible name for a human. At least they didn't namer her Block or Poke.
@allison -- Would it help if I post some photos of me making the boys cry in the middle of a math lesson?
@Marilyn -- do NOT read the comment I just made to Allison! Avert your eyes. Homeschooling is ALL fun ALL the time!
